As part of our mission we have a responsibility to provide innovative products that enhance quality of life by helping people see better. Alcon also extends this responsibility to the way in which we support eye care practitioners and their support teams.


As part of Alcon’s desire to continually develop and add value to our partnerships with independent practitioners we offer a series of Regional Round Table events across the UK and Ireland. These events are designed to share and learn best practice with your peers, as well as providing access to a network of likeminded peers within your local area.

These events are split into three sections across an evening. The content varies, but all follow a similar format. An example of what we have previously delivered in 2017 is as follows:

Session 1- Enhancing clinical knowledge 

A peer-to-peer CET accredited learning and education session facilitated by the Alcon Professional Affairs team.

Session 2 - Enhancing the patient experience

An introduction to PR basics delivered by an experienced PR consultant, focusing on tips and tricks that you can implement in practice the next day. 

Session 3 – Your feedback

This session allows you to express what you would like more of from Alcon, as well as giving us the opportunity to share your thoughts about some of our future marketing and/or product plans.
